Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC is seeking a Translator (Remote, independent contractor) to translate a variety of documents and spoken content for agencies. You will work with languages including German, Haitian Creole, Japanese, Khmer, Kinyarwanda, Nepali, Oromo, Romanian, Somali, Thai, and Ukrainian.

Ideal candidates hold formal interpreter credentials, medical/legal training, and ATA/NAJIT certifications. Strong cultural sensitivity and independence are essential for success in a professional

• Professional interpreter certifications listed in qualifications.
• Proficiency across education, legal, medical domains.

Responsibilities

• Accurately translate spoken work situations like lectures, conversations, and meetings.
• Utilize technology to transcribe spoken English in some settings.
• Read original documents and translate into the required language.
• Edit translated versions.
• Maintain cultural sensitivity during translation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
