Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to design, administer, and continuously improve benefits, compensation, and wellness programs. This remote-based role serves as SME across total rewards functions and partners with HR, Finance, and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in total rewards with leadership experience, strong knowledge of benefits compliance, and hands-on HRIS expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in total rewards, benefits, or compensation; at least 2 years in leadership.
  • Experience administering broad-based employee benefits programs (health, welfare, retirement, wellness, leave).
  • Strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and state pay transparency laws.
  • Ability to analyze data and make program recommendations based on utilization and cost.
  • Vendor management, communication, and relationship-building strengths.
  • Proficiency with Excel and major HRIS (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Paylocity).
  • Discretion and judgment handling sensitive employee information.

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration and ongoing improvement of benefits portfolio (health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), wellness).
  • Evaluate market trends, feedback, and data to expand or enhance offerings.
  • Serve as SME on benefits, retirement, and leave for employees and leaders.
  • Lead open enrollment planning, communications, and readiness.
  • Support 401(k) governance, annual processes, and audits.
  • Oversee wellness initiatives and health insurance utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA across states.
  • Improve benefits processes aligning with Total Rewards strategy.
  • Oversee leave of absence administration and complex cases.
  • Develop and coach a 5-person team; set goals and performance reviews.
  • Manage compensation strategy, salary structures, and pay bands; advise on market changes.
