Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a seasoned Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewables.

You will review title commitments, conduct surveys, and coordinate curative actions with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure site control aligns with financing requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent project management, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum five (5) years of title review-related experience on energy/infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and external consultants.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and document review.
• Strong written communication and ability to prepare status updates and reports.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments, proformas, site control instruments, and related land documentation for utility-scale energy projects.
• Populate and maintain ENGIE's Title Review Excel Spreadsheet with title requirements and related data.
• Prepare Title Status Reports outlining findings, deficiencies, risks, and financing considerations.
• Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments to advance title policies.
• Review ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys for investor/lender/title insurance compliance.
• Evaluate easements, rights, encroachments, and constructability impacts.
• Coordinate title curative actions with landowners, utilities, lenders, and stakeholders.
• Support mineral title review activities for mineral coverage.
