OpenAI is seeking a Technical Threat Investigator to defend our models and ecosystem against sophisticated adversaries and misuse. You will conduct end-to-end investigations and translate findings into actionable improvements across detection, enforcement, intel, and safety.

You’ll build lightweight tooling and AI-assisted workflows to scale investigations, collaborate with Security, Safety Systems, Product Policy, and Integrity, and communicate high-signal results to stakeholders.

Formación

• Experience in threat intelligence, incident response, or related field.
• Ability to investigate sophisticated threat actors and anomalous activity.
• Skill in translating investigations into actionable insights and requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct deep, end-to-end investigations into threat actors interacting with OpenAI's models and ecosystem.
• Model attacker behavior and proactively hunt for misuse patterns.
• Leverage telemetry, OSINT, and vendor data to produce high-confidence findings on adversarial use of models.
• Translate findings into concrete improvements across detection, enforcement, intel, and safety pipelines.
• Build tooling, scripts, and automation to scale investigative throughput.
• Prototype solutions in ambiguous spaces and new product surfaces.
• Collaborate with Security, Safety Systems, Product Policy, and Integrity teams.
• Produce clear, high-signal written outputs for technical and executive stakeholders.
