GuidePoint Security seeks a Threat Emulation Engineer to support service delivery and act as a product SME, working independently on small projects and with teams on large-scale deployments. You will analyze security solutions, not just install them, gaining breadth across threat landscapes.

Role emphasizes ASV execution, customer collaboration, and ongoing training. On-site Chantilly, VA, with travel for federal positions and strong focus on security excellence.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI poly within 10 years for consideration.
• 5–10 years of security systems engineering and troubleshooting experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II+ certification (e.g., Security+, CEH).
• Experience designing log ingestion and aggregation strategies.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and similar threat frameworks.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal training for Automated Security Validation (ASV).
• Lead complex ASV deployments and partner with customers on diverse use cases.
• Assess customer security posture to guide solution design.
• Maximize ASV value by enabling customers and supporting cybersecurity strategy.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to deliver solutions and drive innovation.
• Develop creative approaches to increase adoption and empower customers.
