Job summary

Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Therapist to provide individual and group therapy in a recovery-oriented setting. You will ensure timely documentation, support treatment teams, and participate in on-unit programming to enhance patient outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in Behavioral Health and an AZBBHE Associate license (or eligibility for licensure within 6–12 months). Licensed candidates receive competitive salary and benefits with options for full-time or part-time remote

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Health related field required.
  • Associate license with AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or eligible for licensure within 6–12 months.
  • Ongoing clinical supervision to achieve independent licensure within 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct individual and group therapy to patients per best practices.
  • Assist in on-unit programming, training and development.
  • Communicate effectively to support interdisciplinary collaboration for patient recovery and discharge.
  • Contribute to patient treatment plans with treatment teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned (5–10%).
