Job summary

Brandt, Inc. is seeking a Turf and Ornamental Territory Sales Manager to drive agronomic support and grow customer relationships in the Midwest region. The role covers IL, IN, IA, MI, MN, MO, KS, KY, OH, WI and involves direct selling and distributor collaboration to meet sales goals.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business or agronomy and 2–5+ years in agricultural sales, with strong Excel/Word skills. Travel up to 75% and an office or outdoor work setting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, agronomy or similar.
• Two to five plus years of experience in agricultural sales.
• Experience in turf and ornamental sales or related field.

Responsibilities

• Calls on regular or prospective customers to generate new business.
• Manage pricing, marketing, and budgets within the designated area.
• Promote BRANDT products through distributors and events.
• Attend, set up and/or initiate group sales events including open houses and state events.
• Present BRANDT products and services to new distributors within the assigned territory.
• Build programs and information for end users in the Turf and Ornamental industry.
• Answer questions concerning products, sales, and research information.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit reports to manager regarding sales objectives.
