Job summary

ACEP Now is looking for telemedicine physicians to provide virtual patient care in a remote setting. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, delivering urgent care, and managing asynchronous and synchronous consultations. Candidates should be board-certified physicians with experience in telehealth and excellent communication skills.

This is a 1099 contract position with flexible hours, requiring some weekend availability and favors asynchronous care. Benefits and compensation details will be discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience practicing as a board-certified MD or DO.
• Minimum of one (1) year of successful experience delivering care in a primarily telehealth-based clinical setting.
• Ability to work autonomously in a virtual care environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and conduct virtual evaluations.
• Deliver care across a broad urgent-care scope.
• Review laboratory results and take clinical action.

Skills

Board certification in Family Medicine

Experience in telehealth

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong clinical judgment

Comfort with virtual care workflows

Education

Board-certified physician (MD or DO)

U.S.-accredited medical school
