Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, is seeking physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual team. You can practice across primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care with the flexibility to work from anywhere.

As independent contractors (1099), you’ll earn $35 per completed consult (about $105/hour for a standard 20-minute visit), with pay rising to $210/hour as visits shorten; top performers exceed $260K annually.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week
• Strong communication and clinical excellence
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
