QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own schedule, work from anywhere, and focus on addiction care, weight management, and general telehealth services.

This independent-contractor role pays per consult ($35) with an equivalent of $105/hour for a typical 20-minute visit, increasing to $210/hour for shorter visits. The top earners exceed $260K annually while committing 15–20 hours weekly across at least four days.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (licensing costs covered).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days; schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor–patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controlled substances, except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices.
