Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, invites physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual team. Work 15–20 hours per week as an independent contractor, with compensation structured per completed consult and potential for higher hourly earnings as visit times shorten.

We offer no office overhead, streamlined EMR and dedicated provider-support, and onboarding support for credentialing. All work is conducted remotely across the United States.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preferred 3+ of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and treatment.
• Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships with patients.
• Order and interpret labs as needed to support care decisions.
• Prescribe medications and guide proper use (not for most controlled substances).
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses and support staff for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
