Job summary

QuickMD is seeking dedicated physicians licensed in multiple U.S. states to join its fully virtual telemedicine team. Work from anywhere with a structured weekly framework and zero office overhead, while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

As an independent contractor, you’ll handle assessments, care decisions, and documentation for addiction treatment and general telehealth services. The compensation model includes per-consult pay with strong upside for efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (costs covered)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted a week in advance
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence
• Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support care decisions
• Prescribe medications and guide use (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for MOUD)
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices
