Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own visit schedule within a structured weekly framework, work from anywhere, and practice without the administrative overhead of a traditional office, supported by a streamlined EMR and provider-support team.

Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099, commission-based) and $105/hour for a standard 20-minute visit, increasing to $210/hour for shorter visits.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (willingness to obtain additional licenses; QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted a week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
