Job summary

QuickMD is seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual telemedicine team.

Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role offers modern, high-quality medicine outside the constraints of a traditional practice. All work is fully virtual, with physicians operating as independent contractors under 1099 arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX)
• Telehealth experience or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build strong doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret labs as needed to support treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications (no C- substances except buprenorphine for MOUD) and guide proper use
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices
