Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, offers fully virtual care with a flexible schedule and independent contractor arrangements. Physicians can work from anywhere, set their own visit cadence, and earn per-visit compensation with strong upside for high-volume practices.

Role requires multi-state licensure, DEA registration, and comfort with EMR/telehealth platforms. Compensation scales with visit length and volume, with top earners reaching substantial annual income.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX); willingness to obtain additional licenses
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
