Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Physicians are independent contractors, licensed in at least five states, with a 15–20 hour weekly commitment and no office overhead.

Compensation includes per-visit pay starting at $35 with growth as visit times shorten. All work is fully virtual, with EMR and provider-support teams handling administrative tasks, enabling physicians to focus on patient care while expanding access to addiction

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
