Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own visit schedule within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere, supported by an EMR and provider-support team.

This independent contractor role offers compensation of $35 per completed consult, averaging up to $105/hour for 20-minute visits, with earnings increasing as visit times shorten. Expect 15–20 hours weekly across multiple states.

Qualifications

Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; preference for multiple state licenses (AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
Willingness to obtain additional licenses; QuickMD covers costs and provides support.
Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially for underserved communities.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
Prescribe medications within policy (buprenorphine for OUD allowed by QuickMD).
Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff for comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
