Job summary

Wheel Medical Group is seeking licensed nurse practitioners to join our nationwide telemedicine network. This is a fully remote, 1099 contract role requiring multi-state licenses and strong clinical skills in primary care, urgent care, or family medicine.

You will provide asynchronous and synchronous virtual care, document SOAP notes, and follow clinical guidelines while ensuring patient safety. The position offers flexible scheduling, uncapped earnings, and support from a collaborative

Qualifications

• Must hold nurse practitioner licensure in CA or TX.
• Must be licensed in at least 9 additional states.
• Must be licensed in at least 10 of the listed states.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical NP experience in emergency, urgent care, or family medicine.
• Available a minimum of 12 hours per week (including 6 weekend hours).
• Telemedicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality asynchronous and synchronous virtual care.
• Review patient information to inform safe prescribing decisions.
• Conduct clinical assessments aligned with guidelines and tailor education and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications with attention to patient eligibility and safety parameters.
• Document encounters with SOAP notes including rationale and follow-up recommendations.
• Engage with patients via secure messaging or live video, maintaining professional communication.
• Refer patients to in-person care when guidelines require it and document rationale.
