Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedule, work from anywhere, and receive per-visit compensation with extensive support from a provider-support team.

All work is fully virtual with credentialing and setup assistance, comprehensive EMR tools, and malpractice insurance coverage. Independent contractor status applies, with ongoing professional development and state licensing support.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days while schedules are submitted one week in advance
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use; buprenorphine for OUD allowed
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and compliance
