Job summary

CareTalk Health is a fully remote, nationwide virtual medical practice hiring a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive virtual care for Medicare patients. The role requires an active multi-state NP license and experience in preventive/primary care, with scheduling support and a remote setup.

The position is 1099/contract-based, with minimum 16 hours per week and flexible hours within our ET hours.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in multiple states.
• Proven experience providing patient care in a virtual or telehealth clinic.
• Experience in preventive and/or primary care.
• Comfort conducting phone and video visits; proficient with EHRs.
• Strong documentation and patient communication skills.
• Strong digital fluency navigating multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Annual Wellness Visits and E/M follow-up visits by phone or video.
• Manage chronic conditions, review medications, and prescribe where clinically appropriate.
• Write orders for indicated screenings and review returned results for the care you initiate.
• Close care gaps and build strong rapport with Medicare patients.
• Document every encounter accurately in SOAP format.
