Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; PE/RCDD/CTS/CTS‑D/PSP desirable.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks; strong IT and security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Designs telecommunication structured cabling systems including copper and fiber.
• Designs Physical Security Systems including access control, power supplies, wiring diagrams, door hardware, intercom systems.
• Designs Surveillance Systems using 3D modeling; documents field of view and resolutions.
• Designs Audio/Video systems; uses Revit for designs.
• Sets up projects and produces designs using Revit.
• Prepares construction specifications; manages project aspects.
• Project Management related tasks; provides engineering information; supports staff.
• Maintains professional knowledge via workshops and publications.
