Job summary

HSI is seeking a Technical Solutions Specialist I to join our Chemical Management team. This role blends advanced technical support, data management, and back-end tasks to help customers manage their environments, with a focus on Excel, SQL, and platform tooling.

You'll collaborate with Product and Development, troubleshoot complex issues, perform data imports/exports, and contribute to reporting and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; IT degree with programming coursework may count.
• 3+ years of experience providing technical support to SaaS applications or enterprise software solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets, formulas, lookup, pivot tables, data validation, and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with programming fundamentals in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for HSI's Chemical Management platform.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, configuration, and system issues.
• Document issues and resolutions with Product and Development teams during defect investigations.
• Perform customer data-management tasks including bulk imports and data validation.
• Execute approved SQL queries to support reporting and data activities.
