You will mentor developers, set technical direction, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet regulatory and business goals while driving quality and performance. This remote Dallas-based role emphasizes leadership, cloud-native systems, and a hands-on approach to architecture, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Expert level experience in software engineering and cloud-native applications.
• Preferred: Domain Driven Design and Python.
• Preferred: AWS architect/Developer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate development estimates for feasibility assessments and plans.
• Create and review designs with Architects and shared services teams.
• Develop, maintain and review high-quality, maintainable software.
• Develop and execute unit, functional, and integration tests with automation.
• Provide technical oversight for performance testing.
• Plan and oversee deployment activities in non-production and production environments.
• Investigate new technologies to improve applications.
• Identify and resolve technical debt while balancing effort and value.
• Mentor and coach Development Team on architecture and development topics.
• Evaluate code for quality, structure and compatibility.
