Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a Teamcenter Functional Architect to lead the functional design, solution architecture, and adoption of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio for U.S. DoD programs.

This customer-facing role defines and implements PLM capabilities to support the organization’s digital thread strategy across engineering and manufacturing. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of Teamcenter PLM experience, plus 3+ years in business process architecture or PLM

Qualifications

Currently hold Siemens certifications for Teamcenter.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in business process architecture, PLM consulting, or functional solution design.
Experience collaborating with Siemens Technical Support & Siemens Government Technologies organizations.
Strong understanding of Teamcenter configuration, workflows, lifecycle management, and security models.
Strong programming skills in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
Experience developing Teamcenter Active Workspace or Rich Client extensions.
Experience integrating Teamcenter with external enterprise systems.
Experience leading data migration and system transition initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving, communications, and collaboration skills.
Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, SMEs, and Teamcenter end users.
Lead functional solution architecture and PLM strategy discussions within Siemens Xcelerator.
Provide demos of functionality and evangelize capabilities to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements.
Translate business requirements into scalable Teamcenter designs and data models.
Estimate level of effort for Teamcenter functionality to support sprint planning.
Design end-to-end business processes integrating Teamcenter with ERP, MES, ALM, and supply chain systems.
Architect Teamcenter capabilities including data models, server extensions, service orchestration, workflows, and reporting.
Guide development teams implementing Teamcenter customizations.
Develop architecture docs, process diagrams, and capability roadmaps.
Provide training and support on Teamcenter usage and best practices.
Stay current on Siemens Teamcenter and Xcelerator developments.
