This role offers a fully remote US-based schedule aligned with Eastern Time, a structured 40-hour week year-round including busy season, and opportunities to mentor staff and shape firm processes as you advance

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Experience managing complex, multi-state tax engagements.
• Strong background with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Strong tax research and technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated stability and tenure in career.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.

Responsabilités

• Manage complex tax planning and compliance engagements for high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses.
• Prepare and review federal, state, and multi-state tax filings.
• Research technical tax issues and document findings in memoranda and recommendations.
• Serve as trusted advisor and primary client contact.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and assist with strategic planning.
• Support sales tax, property tax, and federal excise tax compliance.
• Assist with process improvements, automation, and workflow efficiencies.
• Mentor team members and foster knowledge sharing.
