NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Tax Senior Manager – High Net Worth for a remote, executive-level role. You will review referrals, assign client engagements, and guide the nationwide HNW tax team with sophisticated trust, estate, and gift tax filings.

This senior leadership position demands eight+ years in fiduciary and high-net-worth tax, CPA credential, and strong relationship management to deliver concierge-style client service and strategic tax planning across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Fiduciary experience essential; law firm or trust department exposure valued.
• 8+ years preparing and reviewing 1041, 706, and 709 returns, plus high-net-worth 1040 planning.
• Experience with GST filings, including 706-GS(D) and 706-GS(T).
• CPA required; additional designations (EA, CFTA, CFP, PFS, or PFP) strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and evaluate incoming HNW client referrals for complexity, timing, fit, and service needs.
• Determine the appropriate partner or office to serve each client and coordinate handoffs.
• In select cases, manage HNW engagements directly within the corporate team.
• Serve as a relationship navigator between wealth advisors, firm leadership, and nationwide tax teams.
• Prepare and conduct initial reviews of 1041 trust and estate income tax returns.
• Prepare fiduciary accountings with awareness of state statutes and related documentation.
• Analyze complex tax issues and provide well-reasoned conclusions.
• Perform diversified tax and accounting tasks under senior leadership.
• Demonstrate high-level technical proficiency and adherence to firm standards.
• Meet workload and client deadlines; participate in training initiatives.
