A leading tax preparation firm is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional to work remotely in Sioux Falls, SD. You will build client relationships, conduct virtual tax interviews, and provide expert advice on tax issues. The ideal candidate has a CPA or Enrolled Agent certification and at least 5 years of experience in tax preparation. The position offers competitive salary and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Skill in researching information using various tax tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients using virtual tools.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Communicate and coordinate with leaders about remote work results.

Skills

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

Experience completing complex tax returns

5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax

Experience conducting virtual tax interviews

Tax planning and audit support experience

Sales and/or marketing experience

Experience in a fast-paced environment

Access to high speed, reliable internet

Experience with MS Teams and Outlook

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Education
