Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a Tax Advisor (CPA) for a remote, contractor role in the United States. You will review AI outputs in taxation workflows, grade calculations, and document correct treatment to support model training. This role emphasizes audit-like rigor, compliance tagging, and clear justification.

The position requires CPA/CFA/ACA credentials or equivalent experience, with at least 10 hours per week of async availability. Compensation is hourly and determined after interview.

Qualifications

• Direct working experience with taxation on real engagements, transactions, or audits.
• CPA, CFA, or ACA credentials or equivalent applied experience.
• Clear written reasoning that cites standards, regulations, or firm policy.
• Reliable async availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review AI outputs against current taxation standards, regulations, and firm policy for Tax Advisor (CPA) assignments.
• Re-perform calculations and flag rounding, classification, or treatment errors.
• Tag compliance, reconciliation, and disclosure issues with structured severity scores.
• Capture the corrected workpaper or narrative so the modeling team can train on it.
• Adjudicate disputed treatments against published standards or firm guidance.
