What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10 to 15 years in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud platform experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences at every level, and the ability to persuade and influence without a position of authority
The technical environment
- Infrastructure: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Route 53, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, ELB/ALB/NLB
- Networking: VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs and load balancers, with a strong grounding in TCP/IP and DNS
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
- Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Security: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config
Compensation and location
- $180,000 to $220,000 base, plus bonus opportunity, 401(k), health and wellness benefits, STD and LTD, and generous paid time off.
- Remote within the United States. The client would prefer someone who can reach their Pennsylvania headquarters roughly once a quarter, so the Mid-Atlantic is a natural fit, but the right person anywhere in the Eastern or Central United States will be considered. Occasional exposure to warehouse and manufacturing sites, and some travel.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
All conversations are held in confidence.
