Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo is seeking a technical system manager to support Student Financial Services operations, including Student Accounts and University Cashiers. You will independently complete duties and projects, and contribute to policy development and evaluation of procedures across multiple programs.

The role involves handling tuition, housing and dining charges, fee waivers, receivables and collections, with cross-functional responsibilities within the Student Financial Services

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills with online systems, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Internet, scheduling and email.
• Experience in record keeping with accounting, budgeting and reporting principles.
• Knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and statistical techniques.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret data to develop conclusions and recommendations.
• Experience researching, developing and evaluating complex fiscal policies and programs.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical system management for Student Accounts and University Cashiers Office.
• Develop, alter, implement and evaluate Student Financial Services procedures and policies.
• Support tuition, housing, dining charges, fee waivers, accounts receivable and collections.
• Communicate complex account activities to students, parents, and staff.
