AcuFast is seeking a Production Support Specialist to join our team in a fully remote, home-office role with regular Midwest travel. You will provide production expertise, technical support, and practical solutions to our internal systems, genetic partners, and customer farms.

The role emphasizes translating genetic and reproductive technologies into measurable on-farm results. A background in swine production and data-driven problem solving is essential for success in this field-based position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in animal science, Swine Production, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant practical experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in swine production, genetics, technical services, production support, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with swine production operations, genetic programs, or commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and production support to internal production systems, multiplication sites, genetic partners, and customer farms.
• Assessing production performance and identifying opportunities for improvement with practical recommendations.
• Supporting customers and partners with implementation and ongoing management of genetic programs.
• Conducting regular farm visits and providing field-based support to ensure effective execution of production and genetic programs.
• Troubleshooting production-related challenges and coordinating appropriate technical resources.
