Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs seeks a Sustainability Coordinator to lead the comprehensive town-wide sustainability program within the Public Works Department. You will collaborate across departments to promote energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental stewardship.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm with some after-hours and weekend work for events; remote work up to two days weekly is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Conservation, Engineering, or related field.
• Two years of specialized experience in sustainability, resiliency, or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Town sustainability and resiliency initiatives.
• Advise departments on sustainable practices in operations and planning.
• Develop and update Town sustainability plan and track progress.
