Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to remotely supervise board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners across our SC network. You will provide monthly supervision, review charts, and stay current with state rules.

This fully remote role requires SC license, BC/BE in Psychiatry, and at least two years supervising mid-level clinicians. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed in SC with active, unrestricted license and reside in SC.
• Minimum 2 years supervising residents or mid-level clinicians.
• Compact license or multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote supervision to employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs) at Thriveworks.
• Conduct monthly supervision sessions (20–30 minutes) via Zoom; respond to questions M–F within same business day.
• Review charts/progress notes as required by state laws and governing bodies.
• Authorize additional supervision for NP practice when clinically needed.
• Complete a short 1-page Google Document after each month of supervision for each NP.
