A major engineering firm is seeking a Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with over 8 years of design experience in utility consulting. Responsibilities include leading and reviewing projects related to substation structures and ensuring design quality. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a utility consulting company doing design engineering and reviews.
• Experience reviewing substation structure design, rigid bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment design, and retaining walls.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews of civil/structural design components for substation projects.
• Lead engineer role on client projects, overseeing the work and ensuring quality control.
• Conduct site-visits to client substation facilities and occasional travel for client meetings.

Strong analytical and technical writing skills

Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff

Willingness to travel

Education

Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering

Masters of Science (MS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering
