Job summary

Select Power Systems is seeking an experienced Substation Team Lead Engineer to lead substation engineering projects. This role focuses on design, construction, and maintenance, ideally suited for those with experience at Georgia Power. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and support cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operation of electric substations. This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for mentoring and innovation within a team of experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in substation engineering, with 2 years at Georgia Power or similar.
• Strong knowledge of substation design, relay protection, SCADA systems, and utility construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate substation engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Collaborate with teams to develop solutions that meet project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and support troubleshooting of substation equipment.
