Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an Associate Designer to manage the design of deliverables for high voltage substation projects. Responsibilities include creating One Line Diagrams, Layouts, and other plans using AutoCAD. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree, 2-5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This role is fully remote and located in the Southeast region of the United States, offering a meaningful career in engineering and design.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in the design of substation design deliverables.
• Must be able to complete assignments within budget and schedule with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of Power Systems or Substation Design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of a Substation Engineering Group Lead.
• Utilize AutoCAD based design standards for deliverables.
• Ensure deliverables comply with IEEE and/or client standards.
