Job summary

Town of Westwood is seeking a collaborative Substance Use Prevention (SUP) Program Coordinator to support Westwood Cares coalition, manage day-to-day operations, coordinate sector representatives, facilitate meetings, and ensure alignment with DFC requirements and prevention frameworks.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, or related field, 3–5 years of prevention experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to engage diverse

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field; master’s preferred.
  •  
  • 3–5 years of experience in prevention and/or public health.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and supports representatives from 12 community sectors and facilitates sector workgroups (policy, communications, youth advisory).
  • Promotes prevention efforts through branding, communications, trainings, outreach and media.
  • Maintains program data for DFC reporting and evaluation.
  • Builds partnerships with town agencies, volunteers and partners.
