Job summary

Otis is seeking a Summer Intern – Strategic Sourcing Project Lead in Connecticut to support the supply chain by leading a defined sourcing event from opportunity identification through supplier recommendation and implementation planning.

The intern will analyze spend data, prepare and execute an RFQ using the digital RFX platform, support negotiations and contracting, and help drive measurable savings while enabling dual sourcing.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret spend data and supplier quotes.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication across functions and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data and identify sourcing opportunities.
• Develop RFQ package and manage sourcing event in the RFX tool.
• Support supplier negotiations, contracting and implementation planning.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
