Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead, Law & Legal, to own end-to-end execution for AI Lab client projects with a focus on legal workflows. You will translate needs into concrete specifications and design domain-specific data pipelines while coordinating Operations and Legal experts.

In this remote-friendly role, you’ll drive milestones, manage legal domain experts, and communicate progress clearly. A JD and 2+ years in legal practice or regulatory work are required, with a startup mindset

Qualifications

JD (Juris Doctor) or equivalent law degree required.
2+ years of professional experience in legal practice, legal research, regulatory/compliance, or related field.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Own projects end to end, from pipeline framing and scoping through execution and delivery.
Translate customer needs into clear, actionable project specifications for Legal workflows.
Design and continuously improve domain-specific pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality, and scalability.
Align Operations and Legal domain experts for rapid deployment.
Set delivery milestones and drive a tight execution cadence.
Own client communication, keeping it clear, direct, and consistent.
Manage Legal domain experts and project leads to ensure quality and delivery.
Provide daily internal updates with progress, blockers, and explicit next steps.
