Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (master’s) in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible media relations experience.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise communications for media.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of AFT's media relations strategy.
• Cultivate relationships with key media and spokespeople.
• Coordinate with program staff and other departments to align messaging.
• Oversee press materials and proactive media outreach.
• Ensure timely delivery of outcomes and adherence to budgetary goals.
