Lighthouse Windows Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Storefront Estimator to join our remote team.

You will deliver accurate bids for commercial storefront and glazing projects, driving winning proposals and high-quality cost estimates from our Santa Clara-area base while supporting collaboration with PMs and the sales team. Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial glazing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with storefront systems, door hardware, glass railing systems, interior partitions, glass, louvers, mirrors, and fire rated systems.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, project specifications, RFI’s.
• Generate and log RFI’s and emails with GC that clarify scope of work.
• Use Glazier Studio or other estimating software to conduct material takeoffs and labor analysis.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales team to develop winning bid strategies.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial storefront, curtain wall, and glazing projects.
• Track and manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, cost histories, and bid logs.
