Job summary

CTI Audit Solutions seeks a Stop Loss Claim Auditor Intern to assist the Audit Team in reviewing medical claim documentation, analyzing data, and supporting stop loss audits. The role offers remote work around 20 hours weekly, ideal for students or early-career professionals in healthcare claims and auditing.

You will learn reimbursement methodologies, audit processes, and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced professionals in the industry.

Qualifications

• Sophomore in college pursuing a Healthcare or Science related degree.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit specific stop loss claim submissions.
• Validate claim documentation and records for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze medical and pharmaceutical claims data.
• Identify discrepancies, overpayments, and audit findings.
• Prepare client reports and audit summaries with supporting data.
• Support process improvements and special projects.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality and data security.
• Communicate audit findings and status with team members.
