This remote internship offers about 20 hours per week and focuses on reviewing medical claim documentation, data analysis, and assisting with stop loss claim audits under guidance from experienced professionals. Ideal candidates are current sophomores in healthcare or science fields with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Currently a sophomore in college pursuing a degree in Healthcare or a Science related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit specific stop loss claim submissions.
• Validate claim documentation and supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze medical and pharmaceutical claims data.
• Assist in identifying claim discrepancies, overpayments, and audit findings.
• Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to organize, analyze, and report data.
• Support auditors in preparing client reports and audit summaries.
