Job summary

Teladoc Health seeks experienced, independently licensed physicians to deliver virtual care across the United States as a 1099, 24/7 CareStaff Physician. You can augment an existing practice or build a telemedicine practice depending on the state licensing.

You will provide comprehensive virtual care through on-demand visits using multiple modalities, collaborating with Teladoc's operations team and mentoring fellow physicians within the network to advance virtual care's clinical role.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of clinical experience as a physician post residency.
• Active, unrestricted medical licensure in four or more states, or California or Texas plus one more state.
• Active DEA license and no board disciplinary actions.
• Board certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Willingness to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual medical services to Teladoc members.
• Care via a variety of virtual modalities.
• Collaborate with Teladoc operations to fulfill network needs.
• Provide professional profile for platform posting.
• Mentor and support fellow physicians within the Teladoc Health network.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual medical services toTeladocmembers

• Work closely at times with Teladoc’s operation team to ensure network needs are fulfilled

• Provide picture and professional profile for posting on platform

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a physician (post residency)

• Active Medical licenserequiredwith Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine,orEmergency Medicine.

• Candidates must meet one of the following requirements at the time of hire:

  • Active, unrestricted licensure in four (4) or more states; OR

  • Active, unrestricted licensure in California or Texas, plus at least one additional state (two total state licenses).

• Must be eligible for and willing to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs, with no exclusions that would prevent participation.

• Previous Telehealthexperience preferred.

• Must hold an active DEA

• Must have a clean professional record with noboarddisciplinary actions.

• Passionateregardingthe delivery of high-quality medical care

• History of strong clinical performance

• Willingness to serve as an ambassadorregardingthe clinical importance of virtual care

• Proficiencywith Electronic Medical Records and computer-based applications

• Ability to build relationships across departments

The compensation for this position is $25/phone consult, $28/video consult, $12/async consult.
