Job summary

Liberty Dental Plan is seeking a Staff Dentist for a fully remote role to support Utilization Management and UR. You will review claims, prior authorizations, referrals, and clinical requests across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial lines, ensuring clinically sound determinations.

The ideal candidate has a DDS/DMD, an active U.S. license, and at least six years of experience with dental programs.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current, active, unrestricted dental license in good standing from any U.S. state or territory.
• Minimum of six (6) years of professional dental experience.
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare Advantage dental programs.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage high-volume clinical review queues with accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review dental claims, prior authorizations, referrals, and treatment plans across multiple lines of business.
• Analyze clinical documentation, radiographs, and supporting records to determine coverage.
• Apply benefit plan provisions and evidence-based criteria in reviews.
