SendGrid is looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to join our Data Substrate team. In this role, you will architect scalable data solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data systems, proven leadership, and a track record of delivering complex projects. This is a remote position based in the United States, but not eligible in certain states.

We offer a salary range of $171,120 to $213,900 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering complex data projects at scale.
• Deep understanding of data infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable and efficient data systems.
• Drive technical innovation and research in data technologies.
• Mentor and coach a team of engineers.

Skills

Expertise in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
