Placements24 is seeking a creative and data-driven Remote Sports Marketing Strategist to develop and execute campaigns for sports initiatives. This is a fully remote role with a registered base in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

You will manage digital and traditional channels, optimize social media, run paid campaigns, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with creators, agencies and sponsors to grow brand reach.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 4+ years in marketing with a focus on sports marketing.
• Proficient in SEO, SEM, content marketing and social media management.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, remote work discipline.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels for sports events, athletes and brands.
• Manage and optimize social media, create engaging content and foster community interaction.
• Plan and execute paid campaigns (Google Ads, social ads) to reach target audiences.
• Analyze campaign performance, track KPIs and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with creators, designers and agencies to produce marketing materials.
• Identify trends and opportunities in the sports sector and conduct market research.
• Develop and manage budgets and relationships with media partners, sponsors and influencers.
• Contribute to brand development and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
