Job summary

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district in Ionia, MI to staff a full-time, virtual/telehealth Speech Language Pathologist. The role focuses on delivering remote services to students within a supportive educational team.

As a Virtual SLP, you will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student success through teletherapy and evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active Michigan SLP-CCC license in good standing is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs.
• Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Write and maintain documentation, including progress reports and IEP updates.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and team conferences.
• Use evidence-based strategies to support communication skills.
