LanguageLine Solutions is hiring remote Spanish–English video-telephone interpreters. The role supports on-demand interpretation for healthcare, government, education and more, from a home office in the United States. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement.

The position emphasizes high-quality interpretation, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to client protocols across multiple industries. A quiet home workspace and reliable internet are required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English with strong cultural understanding.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accurate interpretation.
• Ability to handle emotionally charged calls with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
• Deliver audio and video interpretation services and type data on a dedicated device.
• Render correct concepts according to interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and courteous expressions.
• Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled hours.
• Follow client instructions to meet expectations and respect LEP confidentiality.
• Understand protocol across industries including Medical, Insurance, Finance and Law.
