Job summary

Intelex is seeking a Medical Interpreter for a 100% remote role. You will interpret between patients and healthcare providers, using medical terminology accurately and ensuring culturally appropriate communication.

Experience in Medical or Legal interpretation, availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments, and a HIPAA-compliant setup with reliable internet are required. Language pair: Spanish<>English. 24/7 shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of professional interpretation experience.
• Specialization in Medical or Legal sectors.
• Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.
• High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation between patients and healthcare providers.
• Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
• Ensure proper use of medical terminology during interpretation.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant setup with secure, remote communication.
